Getting Started

How long does it take to receive the portrait? +

Our artist will send you a digital preview of your custom portrait within 10-15 business days. After your approval, shipments within Canada and the United States can be expected to arrive within 5-7 business days. Shipments outside of North America can be expected to arrive within 7-10 business days or more. Please note that there have been mail delays with carriers due to COVID-19.

Is there any way to receive the portrait sooner? +

When checking out you can select “Priority Fulfillment” and the artist will send you your digital preview within 2-3 business days. Regular shipping times will still apply. Please note that this option may not always be available.

How do I select a good reference photo? +

Click here to see our short guide on selecting the best reference photo. It’s always a good idea to send in a few options so the artist can help decide which one would work best for the drawing

ARTWORK & PROCESS

How are the drawings created? +

Each custom portrait is created based on the reference photos provided. This means that the portrait won’t just look like any pet – it will look like YOUR pet! The drawings are hand drawn using several layers of black ink, white ink, charcoal, and black pencil crayon to create a realistic representation of your pet. The portraits are then transferred onto museum quality fine art paper to create a matte finish.

Do you offer portraits and/or artwork of anything else? +

We are open to drawing a wide range of animals – send us an email at info@goodboyprints.com to chat about your ideas. At this time we do not offer portraits of people.

SHIPPING

I live in Vancouver, Can I come pick up my order? +

Yes! We offer free pickup in North Vancouver for our local customers!

Do you offer international shipping? +

Yes! We now offer worldwide shipping. Please note that all portraits are produced in our studio in North Vancouver, British Columbia and will ship from there.

Will I receive tracking information for my portrait? +

Of Course! We offer tracking with all shipments, so you know when to expect your artwork!

Are there duties on shipments? +

Duties for shipments will depend on package size, weight, retail value, and destination country. Good Boy Prints is not responsible for any duty payments.

What do I do if my shipment gets damaged in the mail?? +

If your portrait arrives damaged please take a photo of the package and report the damage to info@goodboyprints.com within 5 business days. We will happily send a new one your way!

RETURNS & REFUNDS

What happens if I don't like my portrait? +

We want to make sure you love your portrait! Our artist will send you a preview of your custom artwork for approval before shipment. If the artwork is not approved the artist will make adjustments to the portrait based on your suggestions. Due to the custom nature of our products we do not accept returns or give refunds.
